I have worked with the mentally challenged for about 1 year. I worked in a group home taking care of 9-11 individuals at a time. I cooked, cleaned, passed out meds, and bathe them, I also took care of their everyday needs. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, food handling, medicine giving, and fall prevention. I have taken numerous other classes in this field to help me better understand the needs of these individuals.
