I've grown up in a family with many special needs children. My older sister has Downs Syndrome and is partially deaf. My older brother and one of my other younger brothers are cognitively impaired. My family is very diversified, and is passionate about reaching out to the handicapped community. My mother has started many groups and programs that specialize in working with the handicapped, and from a young age I've helped her out. Being interactive with people who have handicaps is a humbling and wonderful experience. They are the exact epitome of perfect love and innocence, even when they are hard to handle.
