Good day to you and your family, and thank you for looking at my bio. My name is Angelina. I live in Shoreline WA. I'm looking for full time, I am not looking to do nanny share at this time. I'm a highly experienced caregiver with a love for working with children. Having had experience with children of different ages, I feel I have the aptitude to provide any family with the security they desire when leaving their children in the hands of a competent, responsible, and loving individual.
I was a live out nanny for two girls for 1 yr, and the family before that has two boys and I was with this for 1 yr, I am still very close to both families. I have been a reliable baby sitter for friends for over 20+ years as well, and I am the oldest of 6 children.
My goal is to insure that your child is happy, safe, and secure during the time that you need to be away. I am a caring, energetic, and organized caregiver with 27 years of experience. The reason I say 27 years is I have three wonderful children who ages are 20, 23, & 27. I would love to work for a family where my strengths and talents were utilized. I like working with newborns, twines and adults and helping develop them to their best potential.
I have my CPR and First Aid, BBP/HIV/AIDS certification.
Before I became a nanny I was a DSM for Toys R Us for 7 years and a DSM for two other retail companies before that. The reason I became a nanny is after 24 years of retail is because I decided to go back to school. I'm taking online college classes to become a Sales Engineer; it will take me another 2 1/2 years. I can do 1 or 2 1/2 -year contracts. I also have training with cancer treatment and experience with Down syndrome and autistic children, as well as ADD and bipolar.
Daily tasks typically are: arranging play dates, reading, indoor and outdoor play, outings, activities, crafts, feeding, dressing, and entertainment. I will perform housekeeping, laundry for children (family if needed), keeping children's room organized, beds made, shopping and errands, loading and unloading dishwasher, tidying up after children, and putting toys away. I can also help with meals. I am Italian/ Puerto Rican and have cooked my whole life.
I am comfortable with being a nanny or a household manager. I also have a background in events and fundraising.
Please let me know if you would like to set up a time to do a phone or in person interview. Thank you.
