I am a compassionate and caring individual by nature. I have acted as caregiver for family and family members during illness. I have dealt with AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes as well as assisting seniors with general care. Most recently, I cared for a childhood friend who was like a sister to me in the final stages of Cancer. I went to Virginia to assist her with full-time care. I had to get her from her bed and into wheelchair, chair or bed. I prepared all meals and fed her. I transported her to and from doctors appointments. I washed and bathed her, as well as handling bathroom needs (adult diapers) and potty chair. I administered medication as prescribed by the doctors. I handled phone calls and paper work. I was able to assist her out of my love for her. I did anything and everything necessary to make her comfortable until she had to be placed in hospice care. I would assist your loved ones with the same care.
