As a member of a large family, children have always been a part of my life. My experience began in junior high as a baby sitter and has extended to now, working as a therapist. Using play therapy I work with children who are experiencing psychological issues or traumatic events (e. g. depression, learning disabilities, aggression, ADHD, abuse victims, etc.).

I work with children for many reasons, but the most simple explanation is that it is rewarding. You can truly see the fruit of your labor. Children bring warmth, smiles, laughter, frustration, and patience into your life and through working with them, growth occurs in you and in them.

I see clients in the afternoons and so am looking for a morning-to early-afternoon position. (e.g. anywhere from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) I am also available in the evenings/nights. In total I am interested in working a part-time position that falls between 17-30 hours/per week. **Please check with me if your availability need differs that what I have stated, as my schedule may have changed. :)
