I currently work with children who have Autism, Mental Retardation, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a private institution. I am able to do ABA Therapy, feeding, and play therapy in order for the children to play appropriately with one another. I am very passionate about my job and I take it very serious. It really means a lot to me when my children make improvements. The smallest things that these children accomplish means so much to me, such as going to the potty or using their words in an appropriate way. To people on the outside looking in, these thing may seem small but to those who know about Autism it feels our hearts with so much joy.
