As a mother of three and through outside employment, I have 15 years of experience working as a family assistant/nanny, elderly care provider and a life skills coach for clients with mental illnesses and people with developmental disabilities. As a childcare provider, I offer a safe, fun and caring environment for children. As an assistant, I am effectively able to anticipate a family or individual's changing needs and plan my work accordingly. I take great pride in my work and am extremely organized and very time efficient. I am able to work self-directed and will typically take the initiative to determine unique individual needs.
As a Life Skills Coach, I have worked extensively with people who have a handicapped condition including people with conditions related to the aging process, people with a mental illness, people with developmental disability, or physical handicap.
As a Nanny and Household manager, I created a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment and was responsible for everything related to the children's physical and emotional well being including: Playing and interacting/projects and activities, child-related errands, driving the children to appointments and activities, laundry, housekeeping, grocery shopping, tutoring, errands, laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, maintain family calendar, pet care, paying and organizing bills, and house sitting.
