As a child my mother worked at the same school I went to. She was a Special Education Teacher's Aid. I never knew how her occupation would change my life. As the years went by, my mother made me spend time with the children she worked with during recess. At the time I wasn't as fond of these children, as any 4th grader wouldn't be, but when days come to months and months come to years eventually I created a bond with these children. Not only as a friend, but as a teacher they could see eye to eye to. Ever since then I strive to not only be a Special Education Teacher, but a friend they can see eye to eye to.
