I am currently an employee of First Choice Child Care Agency and have been working with a wide range of kids to adults with special needs. I have worked with severe profound in the home setting as well as the classroom working on IEP goals and am comfortable with the care that is involved with lower functioning kids/adults. I have also worked with many autistic kids in a wide range on the spectrum, I am comfortable with behaviors and working on goals and problem solving the best way to find something that works. I have also worked in the resource room in the Edmonds school district with children who have learning disabilities as well as in a preschool room with a wide range of birth deformities and many other things caused from drug abuse during pregnancies. I am currently looking for a position where the family is okay with me bringing my happy 9-month-old with me three days a week.
