Julie C. - San Jose Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Julie C.

Full-Time, 1 Year of Experience

I have my certificate in nursing and a bachelor's in art, which suits my nurturing and creative sides. My background entails working in the school setting as a private duty nurse with special needs children for the last year. I've worked one on one with the pediatric population and it's truly what I'm passionate about. Over the last 12 years, I was a nanny for three families as well as baby-sat for numerous others. I have also taught after school art programs to younger children in the classroom setting. I am currently working towards my bachelors of science in nursing (an online evening program, so does not interfere with a daily work schedule) and am looking for a full time nanny position. I am married with no kids of my own, but have two school aged nephews, one with Asperger's. I consider myself patient, imaginative, dependable, and am willing to do some housework/cooking within reason. I love helping children grow/learn and seeing the world through their eyes! I am CPR certified as well.
