Amy S. - San Jose Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Amy S.

Part-Time, 10 + Years of Experience

I have been working as an ABA therapist for the past four and a half years with children ages 2-12. My main area of experience is working with children with autism spectrum disorders, but I also have experience working with PDD, down's syndrome, MR, speech delay, sight and hearing impaired, ADHD and ED children. I have a passion for working with children of all abilities, but the special needs children I have worked with have a very special place in my heart. I will care for your child like they were my own. I am very consistent, and firm when necessary, but not overly strict. I encourage self expression, and I feel that I have a talent for connecting with children and focusing on their strengths to help them grow in a positive way.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I am interested in writing, reading, swimming, music, art and creative drama.
