Jean D. - San Francisco Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Jean D.

Part-Time, 0 Years of Experience

I am a registered nurse - I graduated from nursing school with a bachelor of science degree in May of this summer, earned my license and am itching to use what I learned to help people! My three years of nursing school experiences included working as a nurse intern at a San Diego hospital for a semester, spending a semester working with women in jail, and supervised rotations in all areas, including pediatrics. Additionally, I worked for a family for one year, caring for their 17-year-old daughter who had cerebral palsy. Finally, I have nannied children of all ages for 10 years in various settings.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I am artsy when it comes to hobbies! I love to make music, create art, and explore the outdoors. These are all relatable to nursing care, because I believe it takes more than medication and treatments to bring health to a person.
