Amanda S. - San Antonio Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Amanda S.

Part-Time, 5 Years of Experience

My name is Amanda, I am 33 years old, and a stay at home Mom of 3 kiddos (ages 8, 6, and 4). I am also a Registered Nurse (R.N.). I have kept my license active and up to date, though I have not practiced in the field in nine years. I did have several months of a pediatric rotation in nursing school where I worked with children of all different degrees of illness or injury. I feel like I have the ability and quick-learning style to take care of anybody with special needs. I have had many years (before marriage and children) of paid baby-sitting experience (two summers in particular working for one family every weekday). I believe ALL children are a gift from God and they deserve to be cared for, loved, and nurtured... no matter the circumstance!
During the school year I will need to have my 4-year-old daughter with me, so that will be something to consider. If it is weekends or evenings I will be able to come alone!!
Related Hobbies and Interests
Reading, playing games, cross-stitching, anything outdoors (going to parks, picnics, playing frisbee, tennis, soccer, baseball with my son), camping, walking for exercise, going to movies, coffee dates with friends.
