I have 15 years experience with children of all ages. Throughout this time, I have discovered that each person needs help in different areas than others. Whether the person is learning to cope with divorced parents, traumatic events or simply learning a new task, each person needs help/support with trouble areas and praise for all his/her strengths and accomplishments. In my years, I have cared for individuals with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, emotional/behavioral struggles, food/other allergies, chronic illnesses/conditions (such as ear/upper respiratory infections, eczema, psoriasis, etc.), and asthma. I have also had exposure (and thus some knowledge) to people with diabetes, obesity, autism, epilepsy, dementia, Alzheimer's, anxiety (panic attacks), and cerebral palsy.
