After graduating, I worked at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic as a milieu therapist with children and adolescents from ages 3 to 17 until now. I also worked a year at a development center as a teacher working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. During my years at Western Psychiatric, there were many times I worked on the mentally disabled floor with adolescents and adults and enjoyed my time there. These patients were admitted for many reasons with a number of disabilities allowing me to have experience with a huge range of diagnoses. I am currently beginning to take classes for nursing school and hope to work with children of all ages, including those with special needs. I look forward to hearing from you.
