Hi, my name is Kira and I am a 26-year-old female who graduated nursing school in 2007. I went to St. Margatet's school of practical nursing and Chatham College. I have been working with special needs children and students since I was 16 years old. I am passionate about working with children and teenagers with special needs because ever since I was in high school and other students where making fun of a student with disabilities, my heart dropped to the floor. I believe that no matter what type of disabilities someone may have, everyone deserves to be treated the same. I would organize activities to take children and students out on weekend activities so that they would get to experience what every child gets to. That is one of the main reasons I became a nurse. I do have my act 33/34 clearances as well as the FBI background clearances as well as references.
