Lisa M. - New York Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Lisa M.

Part-Time, 2 Years of Experience

My name is Lisa. I graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University in October 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. My major was Urban Studies with a concentration in Psychology. During my time at Barnard, I completed my thesis on Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children in multiple capacities for at least eight years now. I was previously an assistant lead teacher in the toddler room and a Teacher I in the infant room at the university early care and education program. I have earned my Site Supervisor permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). I am currently working as a behavior interventionist with children with autism. I love working with children, seeing their progress and growth and delight in being a part of that process.

My experiences in education through coursework, observation, application of theory, and the like have prepared me to apply myself, to get the job done, to be compassionate, mindful, determined, and to be an asset wherever I go; I hope that you would allow me to be an asset to you and your family.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy singing, taking walks, some arts and crafts, and reading.
