I am 19 years old and I have grown up with an older brother who has Down syndrome. I've taken care of him for as long as I can remember. I've volunteered since I was 12 to help the Special Olympics teams in VT and MA. I've helped in various areas such as basketball, soccer, bowling, and snowshoeing. Aside from that I have grown up with many siblings and cousins that I thoroughly enjoy looking after, along with younger family friends and children of my parents' coworkers. I love children, and I can personally say that interacting with young ones is something that I thoroughly enjoy.
