Heidi Z. - Minneapolis Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Heidi Z.

Part-Time, 10 + Years of Experience

I love working with children with various special needs. It has been my passion since I was in high school. I have a B.A. in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, an AA in Sign Language Interpreting and a Post Graduate Diploma in Theatre and Drama from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. I used to volunteer recording textbooks for the blind and presently volunteer at Partnership Resources in St. Louis Park, working with special needs adults. I sing, dance, and sign with the clients and absolutely love it. I also volunteer with Bookpals. I read to second-graders at a local elementary school. I would love to be a mentor, reader, signer, dance teacher, or work with kids utilizing my sign, dance, and music skills. I am also a professional singer, and I work in nursing homes and assisted living homes.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I love reading, singing, dance, theatre, signing, and being silly. (Kids love that!)
