My name is Rebecca, and I have a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in recreation therapy and pyschology. I graduated with highest honors December, 2008 and spent my entire college career working with and caring for individuals with various special needs. I was an agency coach and volunteer coordinator for the La Crosse area Special Olympics. I did in-home respite care and nanny work for a young man with a neurological disorder. I also did community and recreational programing for adults with various diagnoses. In addition, I worked two summers as a youth counselor at a summer camp. I have worked with individuals with Down syndrome, FAS, MR, ADHD, ADD, addictions, MS, dementia, depression, bipolar, and various other mental illness as well as developmental disabilities.

As a member and a combat medic of the United States Army Reserve for the past four and a quarter years, I have excellent leadership skills and work ethic. I am able to work in any setting with any type of population!

I am a very active person and love exercise, sports, and games of any sort. I am comfortable facilitating small groups, teaching lessons, and just being with the individual keeping them engaged in an activity.
