First of all, I love kids and especially kids with special needs. I have a heart for them! I have worked as a TA/paraprofessional substitute for special education in school district and as a full-time TA/paraprofessional in the St. Paul school district. I also worked a short stint as a behavior therapist trainee working with children with Autism before I decided the job itself was not for me, but I retain my interest in working with kids with behavior or needs people don't usually understand like Autism or ADD.
