Kathryn G. - Los Angeles Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Kathryn G.

Part-Time, 2 Years of Experience

I graduated in May 2009 from Wesleyan University in Connecticut with a BA in biology, psychology, and a concentration in cognitive science. During my college career I became very interested in child development. I worked as a research assistant for two years in the child development lab. During the summer of 2008 and 2009, I worked at Camp Star, a behavioral therapeutic intervention for children with ADHD and other disorders (including ODD, PDD, and autism) in Chicago, IL. I very much enjoy working with children. I am currently in the process of applying to medical schools with the intention of becoming a developmental psychiatrist. I feel very passionately about children and would love to continue working with them.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I have played softball and soccer my entire life and love teaching children of all ages how to play sports. In addition, I love to read and write. I also love to draw, even though my skills lack in this department, I still enjoy drawing.
