In need of a nanny/attendant to care for a 3-year-old boy. We are looking for a caring person to lend a hand with caring for our adorable son who has a neurological condition that affects his cognitive and motor skill development. Assistance is for a stay-at-home mom who also takes care of the boy's twin sister. Assistance includes feeding, bathing, changing and some simple physical therapy for the boy, but mostly providing additional TLC to this wonderful child! We are following a consumer directed medical care plan paid for by Medicaid, with an hourly rate of $11. 47 per hour. Per the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Medical Assistance Services, the attendant must: *Be 18 years of age or older.
*Have basic math, reading and writing skills.
*Have a valid Social Security number and be authorized to work in the United States.
*Submit to a criminal history records check.
*Demonstrate the capability to perform health maintenance activities required and that are in the service plan, or be willing to receive training in performing the activity.
