Caregiver/Social Interaction PT Position 4-6 Hours Once/Week

I need someone to spend time with my 41-year-old daughter who had a stroke as a result of a major automobile accident. She needs someone that is kind and patient. Also the ability to take her to doctor appointments occasionally and do fun things with her (i.e., crafts, sewing, scrapbooking, etc.). You must be able to lift a manual wheelchair (approx. 25 - 30 lbs). She would like someone that is energetic and fun to be around. She has aphasia which is the inability to communicate orally but she can communicate somewhat in other ways.
It would be nice to have someone occasionally cook healthy meals and help her organize her apartment, etc.

  • Ages of Care Recipients: Adult
  • $10 - $15 per hour
Provider Requirements:
  • Has own transportation
  • Non-smoker
  • Comfortable with pets
