Jennifer P. - Indianapolis Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Jennifer P.

Full-Time, 3 Years of Experience

I especially enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. I find it rewarding to help individuals find their self-empowerment through interrogation and normalization in the community, as well as helping those with developmental disabilities create and maintain a healthy home life.
I have three years of direct care for adults and children with varying degrees of developmental disabilities, including all aspects of daily living, i.e personal care and hygiene, medication administration, any special dietary needs and community outings for socialization and recreation. I especially love this type of work because of the individuals I get to interact with daily. It means a great deal to me to be able to assist in making another person's life as pleasant as possible, as well as fun. I am very capable of working independently with light to no supervision and have a clean driving record.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy music, hiking, camping, travel and sewing in my spare time.
