Hello,
I had an in-home day care for four years. I have been a caregiver for the elderly for over eight years including, hospice experience. I have medical experience in asthma, some ADD as well, dementia, ambulation, bathing, meals, and injections.
I was a foster parent for the state of Arizona for four years. This lead to the adoption of my daughter. I did not work in respite for the state, tho my daughter had conditions from anger outburst to Post Traumatic Stress. I went through all the foster parent training and annual refreshers they provided. I was also a parent aide for a young mother for a year. I love working with children and the elderly. I like improving a clients situation for a better quality of life. I am a optimistic, loving and trustworthy individual. I am interested in respite care, or care giving itself. I had worked for an in home health care agency for six years with the elderly. I have letters of excellent recommendations from past employers. I am First Aid/CPR and TB cleared.
