Josephine I. - Hayward Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Josephine I.

Full-Time, 2 Years of Experience

An important part of care giving is the commitment to providing the highest quality of care, and this takes great customer service, a love for the profession, and pure compassion and empathy. It is for this reason that your advertisement for the position of a caregiver sparked my interest because I see the opportunity to advance the qualities mentioned above.

I have worked two years as a caregiver for a Fremont company where I was responsible for assisting a completely handicapped elderly Alzheimer's client with performing activities of daily living like toileting, feeding, bathing, and watching the client at bed time. This position thought me the patience, compassion, and other skills needed to care for the elderly.

In my current position, I work with a client whose two daughters are very involved in her care. I help supervise everything from house cleaning, to cooking, laundry, transporting client to and from doctors appointment, grocery shopping as needed, and great companionship.

As a certified nursing assistant, I can take and record vital signs- BP, temp, respiration, and pulse. Experienced in transferring client from bed to commode, to wheel chair or walker. Experienced in supervising medication for previous clients, and experienced in preparing meals based on doctor administered diet.

Thank you for considering my application, Please feel free to contact me to set up a personal interview at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Josephine
