I really enjoy my line of work, and I plan on attending graduate school in the spring 2010 to start my master's for special education. My long term goal is to eventually have my own classroom with my degree. I am the oldest and one of the oldest on both sides of my parents large extended families. I have over 20 cousins and have spent countless hours playing with and supervising them. I also have a 21-year-old sister who is in school for education. I do not have much of a preference on ages to care for. For six summers I worked as a certified lifeguard and really enjoyed activities with the children I watched. I worked with ages 5-12, the most while working as a lifeguard. I am also an active person. I enjoy the gym and playing sports as often as possible. Whenever I get a chance I am playing basketball, football, or some outdoor activity.
