Alicia W. - Dallas Special Needs Caregiver
Profile of Alicia W.
Part-Time, 3 Years of Experience
My brother was 29 years old when he died of a seizure disorder in 2005. He was born healthy but at 16 months stopped breathing and lost oxygen to his brain. He was maybe a 3-year-old mentality throughout his life. My mom, being a nurse was the most patient and most doting mother of all time. I am not yet a mother, and I miss being a sister. Growing up, I worked and volunteered with the local Parks and Rec and later became employed with them every summer to assist in the therapeutic recreation. I now volunteer with My Possibilities in Plano, which is a non profit organization that provides assistance to special needs that have phased out of the education process.- Female

Other Qualifications: I am very compassionate and I really understand the importance of parents with special needs children to have a break. They really don't get enough breaks because it scares them to leave their special child in someon else's care. I get it. Let me help. |
