Sarah D. - Dallas Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Sarah D.

Part-Time, 0 Years of Experience

Hello! My name is Sarah, I'm 21 years old, and I have just relocated to Dallas from Boston, MA. I am currently employed as a nurse at a hospital in Dallas, but am looking for something on my days off. I absolutely love kids, and I have been caring for children since the age of 10. I started out as a mother's helper and babysat for multiple families in high school. I have been a nanny for two different professional baseball players the past three summers, and actually worked as a full time live-in nanny in Chicago with one of the families. I have worked with children of all ages and different size families.

I have spent time clinically working with children with special needs in an acute long term care facility. The children ranged in acuity; however, many required tube feedings, tracheotomy care, and had varying degrees of developmental disabilities. I have a family member who is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, and dedicate free time volunteering for the cause.

My schedule will vary, but I can guarantee a couple of hours during the week, and every other weekend.
