Robin Allison H. - Cincinnati Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Robin Allison H.

Full-Time, 6 Years of Experience

Hi, my name is Robin and have tutored children and teens with special needs including: cognitive challenges, Down syndrome, learning differences, autism spectrum, hearing, and visual impairments, ADD, ADHD, time management, focus and goal setting/study skills and behavioral challenges and need for behavior modification. I hold a dual teaching certification (active/current) in both special education as well as early elementary education. My tutoring and special needs services are not limited to student with special needs. I am looking to build a great student and family care giving clientele. I hold a 1997 B.S. from Cumberland College, and I am a 1991 Sycamore graduate. I have six years of experience teaching special education and private in-home tutoring for five years. I have tutored and cared for students in students' homes, at libraries, and in small groups of one to four at school locations. I am passionate about tutoring because I love to watch students make progress, learn, ask questions, and smile when they have grasped and applied a concept. I have been described as creative, organized, fun, motivating, patient, effective, and an "out of the box" gal. In addition, I am someone who will learn about your child's school curriculum, projects, assignments, and help your child to succeed. I am a team player and believe in all of us helping your child. Please contact me, and let's get started!
