During college, I spent two years as a nanny for two children, one of whom has been diagnosed with tuberous chlorosis, ADHD, and autism. I also spent three years working as a camp counselor for a local day camp program between 2003-2006. During that time, I worked with children with special needs ranging from ADHD to cerebral palsy. Several of my campers were diagnosed with autism. I love working with children of all ages and abilities and am currently working towards my BS in early childhood education. I am also considering getting my master's in special education.
