Ashley Y. - Chicago Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Ashley Y.

Part-Time, 2 Years of Experience

I watched a young boy, 15 years old, over the summer of 2007. He was 15 but had a mind span of 7. My younger sister, whom I raised, has learning disabilities, anger issues and speech problems. I have asthma and food allergies. I have experience with diabetics, epileptics, hearing problems, vision problems, allergies, asthma, ADD, ADHD and so much more. I adore working with special needs people because its a different kind of a love, a stronger one. When I am working with special needs people, I open my heart to everyone and I learn how truly special these people are. It's amazing and life changing. It makes me happy and I just love it.
