My nephew is one of the coolest kids I know. In the fall of 2006, he was diagnosed with autism. This drastically changed my life. It made me realize I didn't want to work in an office anymore. I wanted to work with children on the spectrum. I currently work at a school for children with autism and it is ABA based. I truly enjoy my job and believe in the ABA method! Unfortunately the commute is not working out well with my school schedule (I am currently attending National Louis University to obtain a bachelors in Elementary Education, to later get my masters in Special Education). I am very dedicated to this line of work. I enjoy being creative and bring a great deal of energy to everything I do. I would love to be able to continue in this field of work.
