Shannon M. - Camp Hill Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Shannon M.

Part-Time, 3 Years of Experience

I haven't completed my degree in Elementary and Special Education, but I did complete almost three years of coursework in the program. (I have decided to actually go back to school to become a nurse.) I have taken many classes in special education, including a wide range of emotional, intellectual and physical disabilities. I have worked with children with autism (including non-verbal), learning disabilities, emotional concerns and behavioral issues. I have also volunteered with adults with certain limitations. I think that patience and love can go along way and I think that everyone has an enormous amount of potential.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy being outside. I love to dance and be silly. I enjoy music and movies. I have a rescued cat and energetic rescued black lab. I love animals and I am a vegetarian. I like to do crafts and cook as well.
