I have two disabled sisters with a neuromuscular disease and they are both legally blind.
I have been close to them all my life.
I have also had some experience working with autistic children.
I am specifically looking for two to three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to work with a child or adult who is in need of care and compassion either during the day, or later in the afternoon till early evening. Some parents may need someone to help them with a child or adult after their day programs. That would be something I would
consider. I am seeking to care for individuals that don't require help in the bathroom.
Sometimes people wonder why I like working with people who are challenged... I always say to them that it could have happened to US and wouldn't WE want someone kind and caring to watch over us. That always makes them think. Thank you.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I am fond of walking and encouraging exercise for all individuals. I enjoy painting and photography, which is another easy hobby for someone to engage in. Going to the movies is also another great escape from the busy lives that most of us lead.
