Hello! My name is Krista. I am a child/adolescent therapist currently beginning an internship to fulfill a post-graduate certification needed to become a guidance counselor. As a therapist I have worked in intensive foster care, residential facilities, community health centers, and in camps for children with "special needs". I love children! And looking younger than I am, I have found that children relate to me easily. Although I have worked with children mostly as a counselor, I have been to nursing school and have learned how to deal with children's unique physical needs. I have also babysat for families in the past and I am confident I will successfully be able to juggle playtime and fun, with other responsibilities such as school work, dinner, bath time, and bed time. I have a great interest in multicultural issues and have studied abroad three times. Still, there is so much more I want to see! I hope to learn Spanish over the next year. I just took Salsa classes, I play kickball and tennis, and I am addicted to HGTV.
