Erin E. - Baltimore Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Erin E.

Part-Time, 6 Years of Experience

I started volunteering at a therapeutic camp when I was 14 years old. I begin getting paid at 16 years old and continued to work with Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks therapeutic department until I was 20 years old. Not only do I have years of experience in camp and after school care programs, but I have also volunteered and worked at Ruth P. Eason School. I have worked at programs such as therapeutic horseback riding lessons and therapeutic swimming lessons. To go along with all my years of experience working in a professional setting, I also have a lifetime of experience with children who have special needs because my brother has multiple-mild disabilities. I love working with special needs children because I love to help them grow and develop. I take all of my care provider positions seriously and passionately.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I am very creative. I love scrapbooking and crafts. I have taken American sign language and fell in love with the form of communication. I plan to take additional courses while in college.
