Maya G. - Austin Special Needs Caregiver
Profile of Maya G.
Part-Time, 1 Year of Experience
I first became interested in working with autistic children when I was an assistant preschool teacher at a fine arts summer camp. I handled a variety of preschool children with developmental disabilities (as well as non-autistic children) and was so blessed to have been able to find what I'd truly love to do in the future. Since then, I have attended seminars at the Central Texas Autism Center to learn more about autism, and am applying to a graduate program for a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism in the fall of 2010. I'm currently working as a Behavior Therapist under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Round Rock and couldn't be happier.- Female
