I'm writing you with my history of experiences in this line of work as well as others. As you can see this has always been my line of work, taking care of others, in which I have always loved doing! I really enjoy helping others whom cannot help themselves.
*Texas Home Health Austin, Texas from 7/16/2008-8/28/2009. I was a primary care giver with an in-home client. I was in charge of the meal prep as well as cooking the breakfast. I also did laundry, dusting, mopping, and also loaded and unloaded cars for certain functions.
Empowerment Options Austin, Texas. I started in the position of DCS from 5/13/2007-June 31, 2008. This job required working with MHMR patients in a home setting. This job required to work with the clients in a normal setting of life, assist them in daily work and outside home skills. We were also in charge of administrating their meds and teaching them how to live a normal, suitable life.
*In-Home Child Care-Self Employment in Austin, Texas from 3/11/2004-8/30/2006.
*Austin State School from 6/14/2001-1/12/2002 . I was a Service Aide 1. This job was working with MHMR, totally disabled women ranging in age from 18 through 70 years old. Total care was given including bathing, feeding, personal hygiene, grooming and escorting to and from work sites. Some of the ladies' diets were very strict to some from some being spoon-feed to pureed eaters.
*Advantage Prep School from 4/1/1999-3/30/2001. Teacher Assist/Infant Care. I started off working with newborns up to 11 1/2-month-olds, to moving and growing with my babies to the toddler stage ages 12 months- 16 1/2 months to become the toddler teacher. I also was the morning cook for the pre-K class as well as the toddler room.
*Jackson Health Care inTemple, from 5/2/1998-2/11/1999. I was a HH Aide. I worked with the elderly inside their own homes as needed.
*Girling Health Care in Temple, Texas, from 12/3/1993-10/3/1996. I was a PC Aide. I worked with elderly and some disabled clients inside their homes or family member's homes. This included meal prep, sponge baths for bed-ridden males.
*Motel 6 in Temple, Texas from 4/1996-7/1996. Housekeeping. This job had several duties which included the laundry collect and clean service. I also was required to load up all supplies on cart at all times and collect all extras not used.
*Texas Home Health in Temple, Texas from 1/1993-5/1993. HH Aide. This job also was for working with disabled seniors in their homes.
