My older brother is intellectually challenged with autistic traits. As I watch my brother persevere over his disability, it has taught me patience, compassion, and that the ability to learn is a privilege. After spending a lifetime with someone unable to acquire an educational dream, I feel compelled and fortunate to follow my own dream of becoming an attorney. I know how hard it is to find good care for people with disabilities and my passion is helping others specifically, children and adults with developmental disabilities. I feel it is my calling to help those with disabilities and would like to provide special care to other families. I can deal with severe situations and can handle anything. I will be going to law school next August but, until then, I want to provide care! This unique life experience has strengthened my passion of helping others and taught me selflessness.
