My youngest daughter was at Smiley Faces last year, now she is at school. When she was a baby we went through series of daycares which all ended up in a disaster. When she was at Nancy's, as a neurotic mom, I did several surprise visits. I was very happy with everything I saw. It is not easy to please me when it comes to my children and Nancy did that with flying colors. She cooks fresh home cooked meals for all the kids. I know for a fact that she caters to some children's special needs. She has vegetarian children and children with medical dietary restrictions. I've talked to those parents and they all said that Nancy always complies with parents requests. Every day Nancy was giving me the update of what my daughter ate, how she performed in a class, how long she slept and what her overall behavior and mood was during the day. I found it very helpful and felt like I was involved in my daughter's everyday life, even if I wasn't there. I texted Nancy several times a day and she always gave me the update through the text of what they were doing. She communicates with the parents very well. I was also very pleased with the preschool preparation my daughter received. She is now in a kindergarten and according to her teacher doing very well. Now I leave her with Nancy when the school is closed and during winter and summer breaks.

My 3 year old has amazing vocabulary because of the preschool prep she is getting at the daycare. She is being read to on daily bases, she knows alphabet, and she knows numbers and colors and shapes. They do arts and crafts. She constantly brings home her artworks and crafts. I sincerely underestimated what toddlers can do :) I am very happy with Nancy's care for my daughter. I cannot imagine a more loving and caring environment to leave her all day at. My daughter will be with Nancy until she is ready to go to public school kindergarten and I can see it now that she will be prepared.

We absolutely LOVE Nancy at Smiley Faces Daycare. We have two boys with her, 3 days a week. Our 2 1/2 year old gets excited on the days he gets to see Nancy and his friends. Smiley Faces Daycare treats the kids with respect and kindness. We feel good knowing that our boys get three home-cooked meals a day, learn new and interesting things every day, and have made good friends. Nancy treats each child as if they were her own grandkids...................they are all special to her. Our boys get dropped off with a smile and get picked up with a smile and stories of the fun activities they did that day. We recommend Nancy and Smiley Faces Daycare to anyone who wants their child(ren) to be treated with love, kindness, and a feeling of security.

We have had our daughter at Smiley Faces since Nancy first started almost 2 years ago and we were lucky to find a place that we are so comfortable with. Nancy has such a great relationship with all the kids and our daughter truly loves her and all her other little friends at the daycare. I just dropped her there and she jabbered excitedly the entire drive about what and who she was going to play with. Then on arrival she ran into Nancy's arms and gave her a big hello hug. The premises are clean and safe and the kids are obviously well stimulated and entertained throughout the day. Nancy also gives concise feedback of the day activities (play, diet, any accidents of naughtiness, est.). She has always been very accommodating to any requests we have made regarding our daughters care. Leaving your child in somebody else's care is one of the hardest decisions you can make in life and it has been such a relief and comfort for my wife and I to have Nancy as our daughter's care giver.

Smiley Faces is great. We visited a ton of other places before making our decision, and this was the only place we felt comfortable leaving our daughter. The house is always perfectly clean, she has plenty of room for the kids to run around (both inside and out), and there are always 2 full-time adults there to be sure that the children are taken care of when one or the other is changing diapers or making lunch or feeding a bottle to the little ones. This lower ratio of kids to adults made me much more comfortable, especially seeing some other places where one exhausted woman seemed to be running in circles trying to corral 8 kids and screaming babies! Nancy cooks wonderful home-made meals, and you can tell she genuinely loves each of the kids. The best part as a mother, is that our daughter is always happy to go there and see Nancy and Rena and all her friends. It makes going to work so much easier!

We have two children in Smiley Faces, 2.5 year old and a newborn. The wonderful warm care that Nancy provides for our children is what gives me a piece of mind so I can be at work without worrying how my children are treated. Nancy prepares home cooked meals daily, tailored individually to each child. My children eat better in daycare than they do at home, no joke. She goes above and beyond what we expect from a daycare provider. Besides all the activities that the staff does with the kids, Nancy hires professional teachers to teach pre-k curriculum to the kids. My two year old already knows nursery rhymes and songs, can count, knows the alphabet and puts together complicated puzzles by herself. I can't wish for more. If you are looking for daycare for your little one, all you have to do is visit the house and see for yourself. The difference is obvious; this daycare is far above the rest.
