My experience caring for seniors began on a personal level after my grandmother suffered a severe stroke. I began providing in-home care for her soon after, including feeding, toileting, showering, dressing, etc. Most of the other work I have done with seniors has been through volunteer work (i.e. preparing meals, driving to appointments, etc.). However, I do have experience working in dietary at a hospital, monitoring food intake and diets of patients. I simply enjoy spending time with elderly couples and individuals and would love to work more with them.

Other pertinent information: Master's in Social Work, licensed respite care provider for foster youth, CPR and First Aid certified and clean background check. I am a non-smoker and love pets. I also enjoy homemaking activities (i.e. cleaning, cooking, organizing).
