I worked for over a year in a facility where taking care of residents and there daily needs was our main concern. There was over 100 residents living in that facility. I spent most of my time working with residents who have Alzheimer's. Before working in this facility I spent a lot of my time taking care of my grandmother who passed away of colon cancer. I believe that working with elderly is a great opportunity because we are able to help them in whatever they may need and at the same time growing a bond with them.
