I am at a point in my life where giving back and doing good for people is important to me. I was at St. Luke's hospital once, with my mother, she had heart surgery. I stayed the whole time with her, at night I would walk around, and I noticed, so many elderly people there , alone, with no one, and it broke my heart. I knew a lot of people had to work, or just could not be there, and maybe some just had no one, so I knew I had time, care and compassion to give. I helped out for 3 years with my mother-n-law, she had diabetes and dementia, I learned all about diet, cooking, medications, personal care and grooming, and I am patient.
