I have 20+ years experience as a caregiver (nursing assistant). I have worked with everything from retired military with mental disorders to accident victims learning to walk. I also have full care experience with the elderly from memory loss to paralysis. I love my patients and put their needs first. I love to cook also and love to cook them their favorite meals. My favorite to cook is southern country cooking. It is my goal with my patient to connect with them and know their likes and needs. I want them to enjoy life and to have their wants. I love to take my patients on outings if they can and to make them as self sufficient as possible. My priority is that no matter what is going on to make them love their life and have as much (normal) things that they are used to available to them. I must admit that my patients always become like family to me. I have done everything from paying bills, buying groceries cleaning house and complete patient care. I have CPR and Heimlich experience. I also have first aide training and am certified in all of them.
