I've had many clients, most in their 80s and 90s. One of my clients was a stroke survivor and blind. I did a daily exercise program with her, which was built by a certified music therapist. Another, I visited twice daily and every other weekend. I checked her vitals daily, service her O2 machine and made sure she used it, set up her Mediset boxes and picked up her prescriptions at the pharmacy, as needed. I also made certain she took her medications on schedule. I grocery shopped, meal planned, and provided her with 3 meals a day. We also went to the hair salon, weekly. Yet another client was lady and her husband both in her 90s. I cooked for them 3 days a week, did some shopping and did the heavy cleaning for them (vacuuming, dusting, putting out/in the garbage cans, anything they needed). I also spend every other week overnight with her after he passed.


I currently have time available on my calendar. I don't charge minimum hours because I know some people just need a little help to remain independent. It has to make sense for both me and my client.

A little about me: I have 2 daughters; one is a teenager the other a tween. I am very active in Girl Scouts, and love to garden on my balcony. My grandmother was what used to be called a practical nurse. As a child, I used to go to see clients with her and watch her cook and clean. My other grandmother lived with us and we cared for her until she passed.
