In 1993, I worked at an assisted living facility and was certified in their CNA program while I trained and worked at the facility. In 1975 I worked as a nurse's assistant then I became a ward clerk. I have worked in ICU Emergency Rooms and a Medical Surgery hospital as a CNA. I worked as a Unit Secretary for 4.5 years in a hospital. I am a very caring person who is very sensitive towards others' needs. I feel I have the ability to help preserve clients privacy and dignity and give the respect they are entitled to, to help in a calming and professional manner. I make one feel very comfortable in my presence and am sure to communicate to them as I am helping care for them. I am qualified in assisting with walking, grooming dressing, bathing, toileting, prepare nutritious food, set food trays assist feed if necessary, measure and record food and liquids input and out put. take and record vitals signs and report abnormalities immediately, turn and position per doctors' orders, transfers to bed wheelchair, cars, shower chairs. etc. I help keep areas clean and stocked with supplies. I keep a good report with family and document any information they request and a verbal report as well. I have an updated resume that I would like to submit with some the facilities where I've had previously had employment with over the years.
