I have experience working with seniors in their private homes, nursing homes, convalescent center and or residential care facility. My duties consist of providing hands-on and personal care and companionship. Also, assisting in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client by performing and or assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, grooming, toileting and getting dressed. I also provide a clean physical environment by changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, kitchen and living areas. I provide emotional support such as talking, listening and basic range of motion exercises and preparing and serving meals which may also include shopping. I am passionate about working in the field of home health; it allows me to meet and get to know a diverse group of people. Each individual and family is different and there is a lesson and challenge to be learned from each. I have enjoyed the experience and knowledge I have gained throughout the years.
