I helped to take care of my 95-year-old grandmother while she lived at her home and in the home of my mother for many years. My grandmother lived with me for a while and at that time, I took full responsibility of her meals, medications, hygiene, doctor visits, entertainment, paying her bills, and her well being. I truly enjoyed having the opportunity to help her. I got a feeling of fulfillment from helping her not only because she had given so much to me during my life, but also because there is always a certain feeling of accomplishment that comes with helping others.
I also spent the last year at North GA Tech. studying in the field of Healthcare Assistance. I made A's in all my classes... I believe because I truly had a deep interest in the subject.
